1960-1963
On 1 August 1953, Southern Rhodesia joined the Federation of Rhodesia & Nyasaland. The Federation officially ended on 31 December 1963 and Southern Rhodesia resumed issuing its own stamps.

1965-1969
On 11 November 1965 Southern Rhodesia issued an Unilateral Declaration of Independence (UDI) and became known as Rhodesia.
