StampCat Stamps took her stamps with her on a vacation to Istanbul, Turkey. This is part 2 of extreme philately in Istanbul- this time visiting three of the cities most infamous mosques: the Blue Mosque (aka Sultanahmet Mosque), the Hagia Sofia, and Suleyminaye Mosque.
She did encounter some obstacles to extreme philately, including crowds/renovations, an inability to get aerial views, and mistaken identities of the mosques on the stamps (sometimes her mistake… sometimes the stamp designers!) but it’s all about the experience.
