The American Philatelic Society (APS) is the largest nonprofit stamp collecting foundation of philately in the world. Both the membership and interests of the society are worldwide.
The APS hosts a series of live Stamp Chats with the aim to foster a community, club-like experience for all stamp enthusiasts. Originally using Zoom, they now use GoToMeeting. The chats are recorded and uploaded to YouTube.
The APS encourages the use of web cameras. However, turning off your camera may allow for better quality audio. Those who do not have internet access on a computer or smartphone, can still participate. Call-in instructions are provided for each event.
